coding · journey · build · time · career

Praise to God.

When I look back, I can see how many miles I've travelled from the checkpoint where I started. It was truly a joyful, challenging, and unforgettable journey. It started with a craze. Then, slowly, I started seeing the real depth of technology. I realized that this is a truly vast field.

New people. New connections. New ideas. And then came the AI wave.

Many of my friends now say, “Coding is dead. AI will replace you.” In my POV, they are partially right.

I see huge layoffs happening across companies. But I don't think AI is replacing all of them. The time did.

Software engineering before the AI wave and software engineering today are significantly different. Companies now need engineers who can build and ship products by guiding AI faster. Not just some lazy asshole who gives everything to AI and waits for the output.

Technology changes. Industries change. Skills change. Everything changes over time. Nothing is permanent.
